Your information,
handled with care.
This notice covers the Afif Hash Tech & Consulting website and enquiries made through it.
Who is responsible?
I’m Afif Hashlamoun, trading as Afif Hash Tech & Consulting, based in Cardiff, Wales. I am the controller of personal information submitted through this website. For a privacy question or request, use the contact form or contact me through LinkedIn.
What an enquiry collects
The form collects your name, email address, selected services and message, plus any company, phone number or budget you choose to provide. I use this information to understand your request, reply and discuss possible work. It is saved privately through Netlify Forms. Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.
The required fields let me respond meaningfully; optional fields can be left blank. Please do not include passwords, payment details, candidate CVs or sensitive personal information.
Why I can use this information
Where you ask me for a quote or to take steps towards a contract with you, the lawful basis is contract. For general enquiries and contacts acting for a business, I rely on legitimate interests: responding to the request you made and arranging relevant business conversations. Hosting and security information is used for the legitimate interest of running and protecting this website.
You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Use either contact route above and explain your concern.
How long information is kept
Enquiry records are kept while needed to respond, discuss the proposed work and handle related follow-up. If an enquiry becomes a project, relevant records may be needed for delivery, accounting obligations or a dispute. The retention decision depends on whether the discussion is still active, whether work was agreed and whether a legal obligation or unresolved issue requires the record. Information is not kept solely in case it might be useful in future.
Netlify submissions are removed manually; there is no automatic deletion period configured for this website. You can ask for an enquiry to be reviewed or deleted using either contact route above.
Hosting and service providers
Netlify, Inc. hosts the website and processes form submissions on my behalf. Hosting requests may include your IP address, browser and requested page. Netlify and its service providers may process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Its Data Processing Agreement sets out the transfer safeguards: the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where applicable, or standard contractual clauses with the UK addendum. The linked agreement provides a copy of those safeguards; Netlify’s own processing is explained in its privacy policy.
Your rights and concerns
You can ask for access to your personal information and for inaccurate or incomplete information to be corrected. Depending on the circumstances, you can also request deletion, restrict its use or object to processing. Portability applies to information you supplied where it is processed electronically on the basis of contract or consent. These rights have exceptions.
To make a request, use either contact route above and identify the enquiry using the name and email address you supplied. Please do not send identity documents unless asked for information needed to verify the request.
You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator. You do not have to use the website form to contact the ICO.
Interactive examples and browser storage
The service examples use fictional data. Some save your edits, preferences or progress in this browser; others reset when reloaded. They do not run live AI requests, contact prospects, make hiring decisions or take payments. Preparing a discussion brief does not send it: you choose whether to submit the contact form. Clearing this site’s browser data removes locally saved progress.
Optional games and external links
The main site has no site-wide analytics or advertising and serves its fonts and artwork locally. The optional Swords and Sandals 2 arena connects to GameFlare only after you activate it. Its embedded player may use cookies, storage, adverts and third-party services under GameFlare’s privacy policy. Returning to the website closes that player; AHTC does not read or share its game saves.
Atmospheric artwork and demonstration portraits include AI-generated illustrations. People in the service demonstrations are fictional; the About portrait shows Afif. LinkedIn and external portfolio websites have their own privacy policies and are only opened when you follow their links.
